Nahal Ayun Reserve

Nature Reserves

Nahal Ayun Reserve (near Metula) offers a short, circular trail.

Park at the lower lot and walk about 400 meters to the waterfall and back to the lot.

The long trail requires two cars.

It is best to leave one car at the lower lot and drive the second car up to the upper lot at the start of the trail.

Along the trail you will see four waterfalls: Ayun Falls, Eshed Falls, Tahana Falls, and a lookout from above over Tanur Falls.

From the lookout you descend the stairs until you reach the foot of the rushing, impressive Tanur Falls, 30 meters high.

The long trail takes about an hour and a half.
