About the guide

“North Israel Guide” is a local guide to food and attractions in northern Israel — from the Golan Heights, through the Galilee, to the Sea of Galilee and the valleys.

Who it’s for

The guide is written for anyone planning an outing or a trip in the north — families, couples and travellers on weekends and holidays. The aim is simple: to quickly find a good place to eat or an activity that suits you, and to move straight on to directions or a phone call.

What the guide covers

On one side restaurants, cafés, pubs and wineries, and on the other attractions, hikes, wineries, dairies and workshops — both across the same three regions: the Golan Heights, the Galilee, and the Sea of Galilee and the valleys. It’s one guide for two kinds of outing, not two separate sites.

How the guide is built

Each place has its own page with a short description, region, type, photos and a link to directions. You can filter by region and type, or search by name, cuisine or town. The details are arranged to help you decide — not as a phone book.

Good to know

Opening hours, prices and contact details change from time to time. It’s worth verifying them with the business or its official site before you set out. Spotted something out of date? You can let us know.
