Parod Waterfalls

Waterfalls

The Parod Waterfalls are impressively flowing waterfalls, but they can only be seen during the winter months (January–February).

In a rainy winter the waterfalls gush.

Please note!

During the rest of the year the stream is dry.

In a rainy winter plenty of water flows on its way along the upper section of Nahal Tzalmon.

The enchanting waterfalls are near Kibbutz Parod.

The short route begins from the Shefer parking lot (enter 'Shefer parking lot' in Waze), where you can see the waterfalls at their full power.

Head north along the blue-marked trail.

Within about 100 meters you can already see the impressive waterfalls within a dense grove.

You can continue uphill along the blue trail and return to the parking lot.

The walk takes about an hour.
