Majrase (the Bteicha)

Nature Reserves

The Majrase Reserve sits within the Bteicha area.

This is where the Daliyot Stream empties into the Sea of Galilee.

There are two trails at the site.

The wet trail, where you walk through the water, and the dry trail.

The wet trail is 800 meters long, and walking through the water slows the pace.

At the end of the trail you reach a pool that requires swimming.

You can exit before the pool and return via the dry trail.

The dry trail is suited to a winter visit.

There is an entrance fee.

Restrooms and shaded areas are available on site.

Matmon members enter free of charge.

Visitors may enter the reserve up to one hour before closing.
