Springs

Ein Kanaf is also called Deir Aziz. It rises near Moshav Kanaf, on the northern slopes of Nahal Kanaf.

Members of the moshav built the pool in 2007 for the use of visitors. The spring is also named Ein Ashi in memory of Ashi Novik, a member of the moshav who fell at the village of Dabel during the Second Lebanon War. In 2016 the Golan Regional Council renovated the site and made it accessible.

At the spring head there are shallow artificial pools that you can dip into. The pool area is unshaded, but eucalyptus trees, picnic tables and benches provide shade around it.

Admission to the spring is free. Please respect the site and keep it clean for visitors who come after you.
