HaShef HaYoshev (The Seated Chef) Restaurant
HaShef HaYoshev (The Seated Chef) is in the community of Kela Alon in the northern Golan Heights.
Guy, the seated chef, was injured in a serious car accident and is confined to a wheelchair.
His wife Liat, a pastry chef by profession, wanted to fulfill a dream for him, and together they established a restaurant in their pleasant home.
Around one large table, 16 people gather (whether as a group or as separate guests); over a few glasses and Guy's stories, the barriers fall and the atmosphere becomes warm and joyful.
The restaurant serves a tasting menu of 10 tasty and special dishes.
What they share is creativity, fresh and local ingredients, and attention to every detail.
The meal includes a variety of local dishes.
Desserts are handmade by Liat, the pastry chef.
The restaurant is kosher.
